But how does it work? The convertible and fastback have different side windows. So if the window seals the fastback roof theres no way that the original convertible top could work with the same windows.

The upper rear corner of the front side window is sharp in a convertible but with a fastback its rounded.

Either it has a customized convertible top that works with the removable fastback roof, or it no longer has a fabric roof at all and just has a padded tonneau that replicates the look of a folded down top.
